1. I had too much Tempera paint. I needed it only during the first semester.
Because I can not stand the waist I decided to use it till the end...and I had a lot.
2. I so admire Geishas. I wanted to have as much as I could from this culture. I so wanted to look at them all the time. So I started to paint them since that was the best what I could do.
It had happened that I wasn't fully prepared for the exam. I had to bring more works so to fulfill requirement I just grabbed my Geishas which I was doing just for fun.
My teacher on one of few painting workshops, Stanley, called it:
'hopeless kitsch, which you can buy anywhere in general stores'. He was very much outraged.
Since then, I have to admit, I've never thought highly of These works of mine.
Even though I've done a lot of them upon special requests and sold most of them.
